L&T Technology Services (LTTS) announced the inauguration of its simulation centre of excellence (CoE) for Airbus, located at its state-of-the-art campus in Bengaluru. This new centre is poised to provide significant engineering support for Airbus aircraft structural simulation activities across several European business units, including those in France, Germany, the UK, and Spain, the company said.
The simulation CoE is equipped with the latest simulation software, hardware, and high-performance computational machinery. Its primary goal is to unify and standardize processes across all Airbus European business units and aircraft programs, aiming to streamline efficiency and enhance productivity. This initiative is expected to facilitate the timely achievement of Airbus’ program milestones.
The project, initiated about 18 months ago with a specialized core team, has shown notable growth and development. L&T Technology Services plans a substantial scaling up of the centre over the next two years, reflecting its commitment to fostering innovation and excellence in aerospace engineering.
