ST Headline reports that Kwan uploaded a video of her apartment’s night view along with several images of the interior to her Douyin account—China’s TikTok equivalent—on Sunday.
The property, nestled in Hong Kong’s Mid-Levels residential area, reportedly covers over 270 square meters and features a design tailored to Kwan’s specifications, boasting views of the mountains and Victoria Harbour.
In her residence, Kwan has dedicated a room solely to her collection of shoes, handbags, clothes, and jewelry, highlighting her penchant for luxury items, including a handbag collection valued at more than HK$10 million. The actress also actively invests in jewelry, having auctioned off 25 pieces in 2022 for a total of HK$360 million.

Kwan currently resides alone, accompanied only by her pets, and has been quite active on Douyin, where she often shares videos related to fashion and cinema. Her presence on the platform has garnered her 5 million followers, with her posts attracting thousands of likes and comments. Admirers frequently note her stylish attire and well-maintained figure at 62 years old.
Since stepping away from the film industry in 2017, Kwan has reportedly amassed significant wealth through property investments, according to the South China Morning Post.
Her romantic life has been turbulent. The Straits Times notes that Kwan first married Hong Kong businessman Chris Wong in 1981, only to remarry Taiwanese billionaire Pierre Chen—with a net worth of US$6.5 billion as estimated by Forbes—in 2015 after an eight-year relationship. However, she announced her divorce from Chen in 2016.
Kwan made her film debut opposite Hong Kong actor-filmmaker Chow Yun-fat in the 1982 movie “The Head Hunter” and is internationally recognized for her roles in Hong Kong action films.
In 1998, People magazine named her one of the “50 Most Beautiful People in the World.”
