Power Mech Projects Ltd on Thursday announced that it has bagged an order for Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of 3X660 MW supercritical thermal power plant from Talwandi Sabo Power Limited, a subsidiary of Vedanta Limited. The project is located in Banawala village, Mansa District, Punjab.
In a regulatory filing, the company said, “We are pleased to inform that the company has received an order worth Rs 865.00 crore as detailed below: Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of 3X660 MW supercritical thermal power plant of Talwandi Sabo Power Limited (a subsidiary of Vedanta Limited) at Banawala village, Mansa District, Punjab.”
The project is expected to be executed within 5 years, with effect from November 1, 2024.
Earlier in August, Hyderabad-based Power Mech Projects had posted its fiscal first quarter earnings with a 21 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 61.72 core on higher revenues. It had reported a net profit of Rs 50.96 crore in the April-June period of the preceding 2023-24 financial year. The company recorded revenue at Rs 1,007.39 crore from Rs 865.13 crore in the year-ago quarter.
