DigitalBridge (NYSE:DBRG) was reportedly weighing options, which could include the sale of EdgePoint Infrastructure.
The firm was working with financial advisers on a strategic review, which could potentially lead to the full or a partial sale of the telecommunications infrastructure unit, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
The news comes as more investors are looking to acquire digital infrastructure. Last week, a consortium led by Blackstone (BX) said it will acquire Australia-based data center group AirTrunk in a deal worth over A$24 billion.
The company might look for a valuation which could be as much as $4B in the deal, the report added.
