Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE:BRK.B) (NYSE:BRK.A) has sold shares worth $228.7M in Bank of America (NYSE:BAC), the Omaha, Nebraska-based investment conglomerate disclosed in a filing late Tuesday.
Berkshire sold around 5.8M BofA shares in a series of transactions between September 6 and 10.
The company, still BofA’s largest shareholder, has been selling off shares of the bank since mid-July. As of June 30, the company held 1.03B shares of BAC; that has been reduced by over 16% to ~858.2M shares.
Shares of Bank of America (BAC) were down 1.22% in premarket trading on Wednesday.
