Adhesive and construction chemicals manufacturer Pidilite Industries Ltd announced that it has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with CollTech Group. CollTech Group is dedicated to the manufacture and sale of high performance adhesives and thermal management solutions.
In a regulatory filing, Pidilite Industries said, “Under this partnership, Pidilite will serve as the exclusive distributor of CollTech’s extensive range of products in India. This collaboration is aimed to enhance CollTech’s market presence and further expand Pidilite’s position in the electronics industry in India.”
CollTech will leverage the distribution network and market knowledge of Pidilite Industries to provide greater value to its customers, ensuring consistent product availability and superior service in India.
Earlier in August, Pidilite Industries Managing Director Bharat Puri said that the company expects sales growth in the second half of the current financial year to be led by double-digit volume growth. Price hikes, he added, would depend on geopolitical events and the overall impact on commodity prices. In Q1, Pidilite had taken price cuts (of around 5-6 per cent) to pass on commodity gains to consumers.
